Revelation #2 – 52 million kids influence $40 billion a year in purchases. I have always criticized advertisers for targeting kids, not understanding why they would do something seemingly so malicious. Knowing the above statistic allows me to understand why they do what they do. However, understanding why they do what they do does not mean that I have to accept it. I do not accept it.
